Photo Friday: Doi Ithanon Chedis
|Share the joy
I knew we had to visit Doi Ithanon before leaving Thailand, so Alan and I drove up to the top of the mountain last Sunday. At the top you will find 2 chedis that were built in honor of the king and queen’s 60th birthdays. This chedis honors Queen Sirikit.

I really like the angle you took this shot from. It’s just fabulous all those flowers in the foreground.
Thanks Stella! When I saw the garden, I knew it would be a great shot!
Great job of getting the flowers perfectly photographed with Doi Ithanon. I had never heard of this site but will be checking it out since I would love to visit Thailand!
You definitely should! This is my second time here and I hadn’t heard about Doi Ithanon before.
This is a place I missed during m visit to Thailand. It has been year already. I want to go back to check places I didn’t go during my first visit.
This is my second time here and I’ve already started making a list of the places I missed this time too. There is so much to see here!!!
Oh my! The foxglove there in front of the chedi is beautiful! You’ve done a great job with this. Thanks for sharing it with us at Photo Friday!
Thanks Jen! And thanks for telling me what kind of flowers they are. I had no idea.
These are great! Love the one with the foxgloves.
Thank you Kim!
